Climate Change from the Black Perspective
Our Climate Change from the Black Perspective project focuses on highlighting Black stories and experiences with climate change and climate disasters around the world. These experiences offer insight into the Black perspective to create a space that focuses on how climate change impacts our communities. Lack of inclusion in the climate movement as well as acknowledgment of environmental racism reinforces the need for this kind of space.

Black Women in the Environment
(mentorship)
We are dedicated to supporting Black women, Black transgender women and Black non-binary individuals in the green sector, through access to resources, mentoring opportunities, education and skills building.

We are creating more inclusive leadership in the environmental sector.

Community & Capacity Building
With a collective intelligence strategy to support the adaptation of Black communities, we aim to gather and knowledge share to create solutions for our communities.
Our capacity building programming will focus on providing Black communities with resources through outreach, information sessions and workshops.
Just Transition for Black Communities
The injustices associated with the colonial system create barriers for Black communities to benefit from social and economic development. Just Transition frameworks must host strategies to transition Black communities to building thriving economies and sustainable livelihoods.

Without these kinds of inclusive frameworks, the Just Transition movement is hollow.
